Further details in the Legal Notice.
This website runs on our own, self-managed virtual server (VPS) and is served directly from there. When you visit the website, the web server automatically creates log files containing your IP address, date/time of access, the file requested, the referrer URL, and your browser type/version. This data is used to ensure stable operation and to defend against attacks, and is not combined with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and stable website operation).
This website uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. to store your cookie choice or language preference) are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. For all non-essential cookies — in particular the analytics/marketing tools listed below — we obtain your explicit consent before they are used, in accordance with § 25(1) TDDDG (Germany's cookie-consent statute, formerly TTDSG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, via our cookie consent banner.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner. Withdrawing consent actively deletes already-set tracking cookies. We log the choice you make in the banner in anonymised form (timestamp, choice, banner version, a rough country approximation derived from your browser language) on our own server infrastructure, in order to be able to demonstrate that consent was given or withdrawn (accountability obligation, Art. 7(1) GDPR; legal basis Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).
After you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies and transmits usage data (including pages visited, time spent, approximate location, and technical device data) to Google's servers, including in the US. We have enabled IP anonymisation. The transfer to the US is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45(1) GDPR); Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) apply additionally. Cookie retention: up to 14 months (Google default). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. More information: Google Privacy Policy ↗.
After you consent, we use the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. It allows us to track user behaviour after a click on a Meta ad and to build audiences for future advertising (retargeting). Data may be transmitted to Meta Platforms, Inc. servers in the US; this transfer is based on the adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45(1) GDPR). Cookie retention: up to 90 days (_fbp/_fbc). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. More information: Meta Privacy Policy ↗.
Joint controllership with Meta (Art. 26 GDPR): Under the CJEU's "Fashion ID" ruling (Case C-40/17), we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for the collection and transmission of Pixel event data to Meta. The terms of this joint controllership are published by Meta in its Controller Addendum: Controller Addendum ↗. Meta alone is responsible for any further processing after the data has been transmitted to it.
After you consent, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, for campaign reporting and retargeting. This may process the URL of the page visited, the referrer, IP address, device/browser characteristics, and timestamps, and may set cookies. Data may be transmitted to LinkedIn Corporation servers in the US; this transfer is based on the adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45(1) GDPR), supplemented by Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Cookie retention: up to 2 years. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Opt-out for LinkedIn members: LinkedIn opt-out ↗. More information: LinkedIn Privacy Policy ↗.
We additionally measure usage of this website with our own cookie-free analytics solution (Codex Analytics Beacon, endpoint cms.latikan.com), which runs on our own infrastructure. Only usage data without direct personal reference is collected (page visited, referrer URL). No cookies are set and no cross-page or cross-device profiles are created — it is technical, without personal reference, so no consent is required (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in privacy-friendly reach measurement without third-party trackers).
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide solely to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once the inquiry has been fully processed, unless we are subject to statutory retention obligations.
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to withdraw a given consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object at any time to the processing of your personal data that is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where processing is based on consent (e.g. tracking cookies), simply withdraw it via "Cookie settings" in the footer. To exercise your rights, contact hello@snuggery.studio.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is:
